G-sensor means the camera will automatically lock the current video when it detects shake or collision, which won’t be overwritten by the loop recording and saved at a event folder for viewing conveniently.

 Q: How to format the SD card before use?

A: Press the Menu Button to enter the settings and find the “format” settings after turning on the camera, then press the enter button to format the SD card or you can format it on the computer.

Q: Does this camera have video save settings to prevent them from being overwritten and deleted?
A: Yes, you can press the “lock” symbol button to lock the current file to keep being overwritten from the loop recording function. By the way, if the car gets hit, the camera’s G-sensor function can automatically lock the current file.

Q: The screen prompts "Please insert TF card" but I have already inserted one?
A: You need to check whether you have formatted your TF card before the first use. Or you need to change another class 10 or above TF card with a capacity less than 32GB.

Q: Can I view the video on the dash cam?
A: Yes, you can view files in Playback Mode. If your videos are locked, then you’ll find a lock sign on the screen.

Q: Does the dash cam always need the power to keep recording?
A: Yes, it needs to be charged all the time. The battery that comes with the dash cam can only last for about 20 minutes. The 24/7 parking monitoring function requires a hardwire kit to ensure continuous power supply.
